I’m currently rated as overfat on my scale at 221.2. At 225, my scale still said obese. I didn’t look much different than this pic taken at the same time as the scale pic.

This is me in overfat mode.

So after getting down to 186.5 in 2011, I slowly started gaining back the weight. About 5 to 10 pounds per year so in December I was weighing between 242 and 244.

here I am in obesity mode. Around 238 here.

I didn’t feel good about myself and as you can tell from the selfie above, I’m still not 100% happy with my body. This is mostly due to not feeling as healthy as I could be and not so much because I’m currently labeled as overfat by my scale.

The main reason for the weight gain is being busy, no exercise (lack of time), and eating out (grease and sugar).

I started running in December, and slowly started working in calisthenics like pushups, sit ups, pull ups, jumping jacks, etc. I don’t really use weights since I hate working out indoors (sorry gyms).

There’s another post coming on how clothes and posture affect your looks. Also, As I was writing this Fortune Magazine tweeted about how your body fights to get back to where it was when it loses weight.

The opposite is true too. My body has fought tooth and nail to stay slim. I didn’t gain the wieght back in a few months. It took years, a lot of stressful people and situations. In the end it taught me to cut people out that cause stress right away. They’re not worth high cholesterol, stroke, or heart attack.
